'Nottingham Arts Theatre is run by an educational charity established to develop the George Street building into a community theatre serving the people of Nottingham.
The venue contains a proscenium arch auditorium with an orchestra pit, a 50 seat studio theatre and a bar serving a plethora of beverages and snacks.
A varied programme of plays, musicals, pantomime and concerts is presented by a large number of amateur and professional visiting companies.
Adult and youth education is available in drama and singing and Nottingham Youth Theatre, which is partly based in the theatre, enables Nottingham Arts Theatre to offer a wide range of other educational opportunities to young people in Nottingham.
