1396 reviewsStay in cabins among the statuesque pines of Sherwood Forest, in a secluded location offering a retreat from the everyday.
With Forest Holidays, stay in tranquil cabins with private outdoor hot tubs on stunning Forest Commission land. Relax peacefully or enjoy a range of activities such as cycling or walking. Enjoy with family, as a couple or with friends.
Hidden amongst the trees in the Sherwood Pines Forest Park, this location offers 3,300 acres of forest to explore from your cabin doorstep. The legend of Robin Hood pervades this Nottinghamshire forest, and adds flavour to the forest adventures that await.
The cabins at Sherwood Forest are dotted among the tall pine trees, blending harmoniously into the forest landscape. Sherwood Forest has a wide range of cabins, and whichever you choose you will be rewarded with peaceful woodland views.
Whether it’s relaxing in your hot tub gazing up at the stars or swinging through the forest trees on the zip wire at Go Ape; there really is something for everyone at Sherwood Forest. You can even take the dog and stay in a pet friendly cabin.
Pamper yourself with in-cabin spa treatments and go for gentle strolls in the forest. For the more active the opportunities are endless; try archery (this is of course the land of Robin Hood), Forest Ranger activities or clay target shooting.
At the Forest Retreat, the hub of this stunning location, you’ll find the friendly team, who will help you to get the most out of your Forest Holiday. The Forest Retreat is also home to the café, serving delicious freshly cooked meals, a well-stocked bar, and the site shop, selling everything from essential groceries to luxuries, gifts and souvenirs, with many locally sourced items.
