Located just two miles from Nottingham city centre, Colwick Hall is a magnificent Palladian-style Georgian country house mansion, close to the train station, coach station and many of Nottingham’s finest attractions. A historic building dating back to Saxon times and once the ancestral home of Lord Byron, Colwick Hall is the ideal weddings and event venue in Nottingham. The Lakeside Pavilion is a grand marquee on the grounds, and is the ideal setting for gala dinners and special functions for up to 500 people.
Colwick Hall boasts 16 luxurious and individually designed bedrooms with views across the lake or racecourse. The bedrooms and suites have been sympathetically restored to their former glory. Choose from a magnificent range of rooms, contemporary in style whilst enjoying many original features like wooden beams, marble fireplaces and Corinthian columns with detailed cornices.
On your visit be sure to book in to the Byron’s Brasserie restaurant too! Famous for serving themed afternoon teas, and a sumptuous selection of dishes for lunch and dinner.
Accessibility:
All public areas and function rooms - apart from our George Stubbs Suite (a small meeting/dining room for up to 12 people) - are located on the ground floor and are therefore fully accessible. This includes the Byron's Brasserie restaurant. All bedrooms are located on the first and second floors, without lift access in the building. Disabled toilets are located in the hall as well as the Lakeside Pavilion.
