Nottingham’s unique system of man-made cave have played a pivotal role in the city’s history, having echoed with the footsteps of Edward III's when he launched a secret coup to take Nottingham Castle, and provided shelter to the city’s residents, as bombs tumbled down outside during the war.

Now, for the first time ever, you can access the previously hidden labyrinths below our streets, using a fantastic new app – designed to give you a unique insight into what lies beneath.

Using high-tech archaeological scanning equipment, the Nottingham Caves App is packed with information on Nottingham’s network of manmade caves – featuring exclusive flythrough videos, photos and historical information.

The Top 10 Caves trail will take you on a walking tour of the city’s cavey highlights – giving you the chance to enter underground attractions like the City of Caves, see the cave cell where Robin Hood was once imprisoned, and even stop off for a pint in Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem’s hand-chiselled rooms.

Virtually enter the city’s never-before-seen caves, by watching the app’s spectacular fly-through videos, which give you unprecedented access to the hidden wonders below Nottingham’s streets.
