Sunday 9th March 2025 will see the Nottingham 10K return as runners of all abilities are set to descend onto the streets of the city.
Organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, the action will start in Old Market Square before seeing participants head north of the city centre, travel along Mansfield Road before finishing outside the grounds of Nottingham Castle.
Firmly established as one of the biggest sporting and fundraising dates in the Nottingham calendar, participants with all levels of ability are invited to lace up their trainers and take part in the city’s most popular 10K.
Providing a fundraising vehicle for charities is the primary objective of every Run For All event, ensuring that the money being raised by competitors stays local and supports the causes that needs them most.
Following on from previous years, participants are encouraged to fundraise for their own charity of choice or one of the event’s partner charities; Maggie’s, Mansfield Cat Rescue, Framework Housing Association, Base 51 and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
The city of Nottingham enjoys a reputation for being so welcoming, and participants can expect a great atmosphere and enthusiastic crowd support as they make their way around the course.
Set to be more than just a day of running, this year’s event will highlight the incredible communities in and around the city, from running clubs, volunteers and schools; all areas of the city are expected to show their support.
Tristan Batley-Kyle, Operations Director at Run For All said, “Nottingham is a perfect city location to stage one of our events and whatever the reason for taking part, whether it be for charity, a personal challenge, or simply just to have fun, we encourage participants.”
