Beans on Toast handpicks the line-up from his favourite songwriters and bands on the planet and then hosts the day itself playing two shows, opening and closing the event.

Join Sherwood Forest this summer for four weekends of entertainment from 3rd to 26th August, celebrating the legend that makes Sherwood famous across the globe.

The Robin Hood Festival is a celebration of the world’s favourite outlaw and the legends which have been inspired by the landscape of Sherwood Forest. 2024 will be the 38th Robin Hood Festival, with each attracting thousands of visitors every year from across the UK and overseas. They come to see spectacular displays of jousting on horseback and medieval hand-to-hand combat, archery, historical re-enactment, music, comedy, children’s entertainment and much, much more.

On their final day, Sunday 25th August, they are hosting the annual Nottinghamshire Day Festival. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a range of activities including craft making workshops, Outlaw Orienteering, poetry writing workshops - not to mention a whole lot of festival fun at like archery, historical re-enactments, music, comedy acts, and much more.

The tenth Southwell Music Festival takes place in the Nottinghamshire town from 23 - 26 August 2024.

In this 10th anniversary year, their four-day festival will see Southwell teeming with musicians as we celebrate our town and the universal language of music. The programme promises something for everyone, with music ranging from the medieval to the modern and everything in between.

They will also celebrate homegrown ensembles, the Festival Sinfonia and Festival Voices, in an epic performance of one of the most popular choral works of all time, Mozart’s Requiem. Alongside this cornerstone of the repertoire, they will give the world premiere of a new work commissioned to mark the 10th Festival. ‘With What Sudden Joy’ is a major new cantata by Cheryl Frances-Hoad and poet Kate Wakeling.

Watch the Fowler ploughing engine generate steam and chat to the fascinating team.

The Arboretum Beer Festival is coming back for a fourth year, bringing the warm and fuzzy summer vibes to Nottingham’s historic green heart.

The all-day event at the Arboretum will once again showcase dozens of great real ales and craft beers from local breweries and beyond. Located around the park’s Victorian bandstand, the event will blend the tasty food and beer selection with live music and entertainment.

All ages are welcome, but any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Visitors are invited to celebrate Bank Holiday Sunday at Binks Yard in Nottingham with an extraordinary terrace party headlined by the legendary Dave Lee, also known as Joey Negro. A prominent figure in the dance music industry, Dave Lee will bring his renowned Glitterbox sound to this special event.

The lineup also features the talented Sophie Lloyd, who is set to deliver her signature disco-infused house music. Adding to the excitement, Melon Bomb, a favourite from Ibiza’s party scene, will be flying in to captivate the crowd with an electrifying set.

In addition to these headliners, Groovebox residents will also be bringing the vibes all day long!

Venture down for a 2024 tour of the Estate. You will be guided around the Estate and provided an informal tasting of locally produced wines and the Estate-made craft cider. You will explore the cider orchard and vineyard whilst enjoying stops along the way to taste wine and learn about viticulture and life on the Estate. Their first wines will be released at some point in Spring / Summer of 2024 and once available these will feature in the tours.

The tours and tastings will be held on Saturdays starting at 11am and 2pm (2pm from June) and last roughly 1 and a half hours.
