Mad Science at Twinlakes Family Theme Park

Wacky rides, water slides, playzones, animal experiences, skating, bouncing and boating are just a few of the brilliant attractions at awesome and family theme park Twinlakes, but this weekend they're bringing something even more special. Educational organisation Mad Science will be taking over The Hub on Saturday with scientific workshops, performances, fun and games that will amaze and entertain both you and the children. Make slime, cook up candy floss and get involved in science based activities. Whatever the weather there are bundles of things to do at Twinlakes, and a fantastic day out for the family.

Those who enjoy absurd humour, the ridiculous side of avant-garde art and 1970s counter culture will enjoy this comical performance. Following a good dose of hype after its showing at Edinburgh Fringe 2015 actor, director and 'clown doctor' Jamie Wood is taking O No! on tour throughout the UK. Described as a' psychedelic ride', and a 'wonky homage to the woman damned for destroying the Beatles' O No! follows Yoko Ono's instructive guide for artists, whatever surreal twist they take, and asks if there are still things we can learn from the hippies.
RSMA at Patchings – Celebrating the Sea at Patchings Art Centre

The quaint and picturesque Patchings Art Centre has been in action for an impressive 23 years, and still going strong through the dedication of their team and members, this weekend they have two brand new exhibitions opening. Chosen as the venue for RSMA’s 2017 out of London exhibition, the centre will feature a variety of art by the country's leading marine artists.
