This weekend the Christmas Art & Food Market takes place at the Welbeck Estate in north Nottinghamshire. Emma Hall from Welbeck Bakehouse is our guest blogger today, for an insight into the festive treats they'll be selling at the market this weekend.
Halloween …Done!
Bonfire night…Done!
Christmas… 30 days and counting!
The changing colours of the English autumn have finally wound down and although it’s slightly sad, it brings the festivities of winter! Let’s be honest – the mornings are crisper than ever and I’m sure we are all guilty of refusing to get out of bed of a morning because the house is too cold and burying ourselves deeper under layers and layers of pillows, thick blankets and duvets… but things are about to change!
Soon we will be surrounded by loved ones, on a sea of mis-matched chairs celebrating all that has happened in 2015.
The Welbeck Bakehouse elves are finalising the finishing touches before the inevitable Christmas rush hits us. Our bakery elves are crafting the most wonderful, edible artisan gifts, our delivery elves are travelling the breadth of Nottingham, Sheffield and Lincoln to deliver this sheer delicious-ness and finally our office elves are discussing bespoke bread needs with customers as well as preparing Bakehouse HQ for the Christmas Art and Food Market at Welbeck.
What’s that I hear you cry? Art and Food market? And it’s Christmas themed? And it’s on the beautiful Welbeck estate?!
Yes, you did hear correctly!
