Olympic Gold Medal is Coming to Newark

The annual Robin Hood Game and County Show will take place next weekend, from the 13th-14th October, and is set to be the most fun-filled yet! Feeling lucky? Enter here to win tickets! This year, special guest Peter Wilson, who won the gold for Team GB in the shooting, will be attending the Robin Hood Game and Country Show on Sunday 14^th October at the Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire. He's available for a meet and greet, photos and a chat about his triumph at the 2012 Olympics, between 1pm & 4pm. The weekend event will appeal to families, dog-lovers and those partial to countryside recreation. A host of children’s entertainment includes Jousting Tournaments and horseback stunts courtesy of Stampede Stunt Display Team, Birds of Prey arena shows, thrilling BMX stunts, archery training where you can have-a-go yourself and a funfair! An authentic Viking re-enactment village, the Clan Wulfhar have a full armoury, surgeon, cooking and sewing demos, dancing and will carry-out a full battle using real swords!
