Have a go at.. wildlife watching

Or what makes a Robin see red?* These are just two of the fabulous facts, which I uncovered during a recent foray into the wilderness, on a tour with Verdant Wildlife. We visited several rural locations during the day, from tourist hotspots like Clumber Park to nature reserves including Idle Valley and a few hidden gems that Andrew likes to share with his most honorary guests. We were lucky enough to see a plethora of songbirds, alongside many different species of seasonal flora and fungi, and a few larger mammals too. Not only are you filled with a variety of facts, but Andrew also offers the option of a hearty homemade packed lunch filled with local delicacies. He is equally happy to taxi you to the nearest eatery, and leave you to enjoy a meal, before picking the tour back up again in the afternoon. If walking isn’t for you, the trip can be enjoyed completely from a car window, as you are transported through the county in the comfort of a private vehicle, which can accommodate up to six eager explorers. The great thing about the tours is the fact they are seasonal, no two are the same, with many people opting for repeat visits, myself included.
