Culture is what makes each destination completely unique, so as part of Tourism Week it’s only right we take a deep dive into the expansive culture of Nottinghamshire which has evolved over thousands of years and attracts visitors from around the globe.
May is one of our favourite months to explore Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. With the sunny spring weather, flowers blossoming everywhere, a three bank holidays to enjoy it's a glorious month and we love every second of it!

The Limelight Backstage Tours go behind the scenes at the Theatre Royal, found just off Old Market Square in the heart of Nottingham city centre. One of Nottingham’s most iconic venues, you are likely to recognise the building from the pillars which adorn the front of the building.
We recently had the opportunity to visit The National Holocaust Centre and Museumin Newark, and it was a truly moving and educational experience. It’s a vibrant memorial, a place of testimony and a Centre of learning for communities of all faiths, and none, across the UK.
