Residents are invited to participate in five summer Play Days throughout July and August, offering activities for the entire family, including fun, arts and crafts, sports activities, and much more. Play Days are a popular feature in the Borough’s annual events calendar and are completely free to attend.

This year's activities include:

- Face painting
- Food and drink
- Circus skills workshops
- Fair rides*
- Arts and crafts
- Inflatables*
- Puppet shows
- And lots more!

*These may incur a small fee.

This year’s events will run at the following locations:

- Chilwell – Tuesday, 30 July, Inham Nook Recreation Ground, NG9 4GY
- Eastwood – Thursday, 1 August, Coronation Park, NG16 3LQ
- Stapleford – Monday, 5 August, Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, NG9 8JL
- Kimberley – Thursday, 8 August, Kimberley School Field, NG16 1FB
- Beeston – Monday, 12 August, Broadgate Park, NG9 2LN

The events have been supported by Stapleford Town Council, Eastwood Town Council, and Kimberley Town Council, with thanks to Kimberley School for providing the venue.

Residents are encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport to attend these events.
