Sharp Little Bones is the brainchild of bassist and composer Simon Paterson. Joined by MOBO-nominated, multi-BBC Jazz and Parliamentary Jazz Awards winner Tony Kofi, they are a quartet of virtuosos playing compositions that are tight, energetic, catchy, and melodic.

This is a one-off rare chance to watch the usually extraordinarily energetic and vibrant Sharp Little Bones perform an acoustic set. You'll witness the "Passionate… superb… heartfelt" (GUARDIAN) saxophonist Tony Kofi perform with acclaimed musicians to entertain you with "contemporary jazz sounds that reach back to the standards era but remain resolutely modern in feel" (KIND OF JAZZ), all played with heart and soul.

Expect catchy, melodic and well-arranged "interesting and accessible" (THE JAZZ MAN) compositions, amidst "mature, organic and polished" (JAZZ VIEWS) ballads with "deft group interplay" (RECORD COLLECTOR) and expansive atmospheres brimming with "beautifully demonstrated" (JAZZ FUEL) spiritual energy.

"Engaging, hugely varied, well-presented, characterised by élan and enthusiasm" JAZZWISE

"If the opportunity arises to see and hear them live…take it!" SIMPLY JAZZ TALK
"Excellent, imaginative and absorbing work" JAZZ JOURNAL

"A sumptuous treat" – KIND OF JAZZ
