Septura brings together the very best brass players in the UK – between them holding principal positions in the Royal Philharmonic, London Symphony, BBC Symphony and Philharmonia orchestras.
With their unparalleled skill and virtuosity the ensemble has forged a chamber group described as "dazzlingly polished" (BBC Music Magazine), and now firmly established as one of the best in the world.
Brass instruments have long been vital to the festive musical fabric. Here Septura focus on some of the highlights of the rich Christmas canon, including Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, with narration of E.T.A Hoffmann's short story 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King' by Tanya Myers.
