Peggy's is excited to be welcoming emerging musicians to the stage for our new monthly Spotlight event. We are thrilled to be joined by Safii Koii, playing original music exploring soulful jazz fusion, and the Lucy Blink Quartet, bringing new life to jazz standards.
Safii Koii
Introducing Safii Koii, a Singer and Music Producer with roots deeply embedded in the vibrant culture of North London. With an unwavering commitment to authenticity and empathy, Safii infuses her music with a diverse array of influences, drawing inspiration from eclectic artists like FKA twigs, Gorillaz, Toro y Moi, James Blake, and many others.
Driven by a genuine desire to connect with her audience, Safii Koii pours her heart and soul into every song, crafting melodies that resonate with honesty, warmth, and compassion. Through her music, she creates a safe haven where listeners can find solace, understanding, and a sense of belonging amidst life's chaotic journey.

Lucy Blick Quartet
The Lucy Blick Quartet are a dynamic Midlands-based jazz ensemble, featuring Lucy Blick on Vocals, Marcus Cutler-Corker on Keys, Sam Williams on Bass and Edward Jennings on Drums. The quartet all met at the University of Nottingham and as former members of the Moonlighter's Big Band, they have since evolved into an ensemble who regularly perform together at gigs and events around the region. They take jazz standards and well-loved tunes and infuse them with their soul-inflected style and improvisational talent, along with a vocal style which combines soulful jazz with bluesy nuances.
