Mahuki are an Edinburgh-based fusion project spearheaded by the Czech-born guitar virtuoso, Honza Kourimsky. Blending jazz with Eastern European folk melodies and progressive funk, Mahuki embarks on a musical exploration of the spiritual dimensions of the human experience. Honza's dynamic stage presence, extensive performing background, and distinctive compositional flair set the stage for this cutting-edge jazz fusion ensemble. In their sophomore album, "Gratitude," Mahuki delves into a diverse range of musical styles, seamlessly blending expressive improvisation with intricate composition and arrangement.
