The folk tradition of fado, songs with melancholic melodies and lyrics, originated in Lisbon, Portugal. The multi-awardwinning fado singer LINA_ has a refreshingly contemporary approach. Here she performs music from her highly acclaimed album Fado Camões based on poetry by the 16thcentury Portuguese poet Luís Vaz de Camões. On stage she is joined by Ianina Khmelik (keyboards), Pedro Viana (Portuguese guitar), and guest artists Justin Adams (guitar) and John Baggott (keyboards).
