Their debut single Dreamland was released in September 2021 to great critical acclaim, and they have recently sold out shows at Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Dean St, and 91 Living Room.
This London-based contemporary jazz-fusion band consists of some of the best up and coming jazz musicians in the UK. The band's music is a creative mix of ambient soundscapes and heavy rhythmical interplay, bound together by fierce improvisation. The band's huge sound and relentless energy guarantee a captivating performance.
Jack Yardley initially studied jazz at Leeds College of Music and won a scholarship in 2012 to attend the Guildhall School of Music for a postgraduate degree. Two years later, after receiving his Master's degree with distinction, he also won the prestigious Help Musicians Postgraduate Jazz Award. Following this, he dedicated himself full-time to the resurgent London jazz scene as a professional musician. He has also been a pupil of one of the most revered jazz drummers of our generation Mark Guiliana.
"I have been lucky enough to be working with Jack over the course of the last year and have really enjoyed our time together. He is a great drummer and a thoughtful bandleader with a very strong vision. We have discussed a wide variety of playing and compositional techniques and his growth is evident. He's enthusiastic, inspired and always puts the music first." – Mark Guiliana.
