Gecko is a singer storyteller sharing playful songs full of wit and warmth. Expect to hear about pig fugitives, feminist fairytales and Guanabana fruit juice from this festival favourite.
Gecko has performed across the world, from Milan to Auckland, from Stockholm to Amsterdam. He has shared work at Glastonbury, Latitude, the Southbank Centre and the Edinburgh Fringe as well as on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and BBC THREE TV.
He was a guest on BAFTA winning Sky Arts TV Show 'Life & Rhymes' hosted by Benjamin Zephaniah and has shared stages with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Tim Minchin, Eddie Izzard and Billy Bragg. His TikTok videos have received over 4 million views and 1 million likes.
