About

Friday 21st June 2024 - Friday 9th August 2024 (every Friday) | 6pm
Beeston Square

Enjoy FREE live music for an hour from a range of local artists every Friday this summer, as last year’s Friday18 event returns to Beeston for 2024 for the third year running.

Kicking off this year's event on Friday 21 June will be James Stevens Rock n Roll tribute to R&R and country, 50's-70's.

Also performing this year includes:

28/06/2024    Half the Battle (Rock/folk duo)

05/07/2024    Trevor Pringle

12/07/2024    Anteloup – (Beeston based band)

19/07/2024    Romy

26/07/2023    Higgs Bo'Sun

02/08/2024    Chai Larden & Ben Hibbert

09/08/2024    Dan Bates and Jimmi Strange (this finale event will last for two hours)

The summer sessions have been designed to bring some summer ambience to the town for visitors before they head to some of the local restaurants, bars and cinema.

Come down with family and friends to enjoy an hour of free live music and support local artists, before heading to one of Beeston's fantastic pubs and restaurants. This is a fantastic way to support your local economy and town centre, whilst enjoying the varied night life Beeston has to offer! This summer the event will be running for 2 weeks longer so allowing plenty of time to enjoy the Beeston night life. Why not be environmentally friendly and walk, cycle or take the bus to the events!

Friday18 is an event which has developed through the Council's partnership with the German town of Gutersloh.
