About

Thursday 21st November | 2024 | 8pm - 9.45pm
Broadway
£5 - £11

Mashing up genres and styles with wild abandon, The Heroic Trio combines the traditions of the wuxia genre with the style and themes of the Hong Kong New Wave.

The film follows its three heroines – the formidable Michelle Yeoh, Maggie Cheung and Anita Mui as Invisible Girl, Thief Catcher and Wonder Woman – as they overcome their dark pasts and team up in order to defeat the evil, baby-snatching subterranean monster terrorising their Gotham-like city.

Part of Broadway Cinema's Fight Like a Girl season

Screening as part of Art of Action, a UK-wide film season supported by National Lottery and BFI Film Audience Network.
