Friday 12 January 2024
Venue: Hanwell Wine Estate
Time: 10am to 3.30pm
Price: £105 per person
Enjoy a fun and lively day of painting & creating bold abstract works. You will learn about the power of colour, explore use of line, texture, design along with a variety of starting points to develop a series of exciting paintings.
Your morning will be spent looking at mixing colour and developing a deeper understanding of how colour behaves when mixed or placed alongside different colours. Then in the afternoon you will be using our new found knowledge to create artwork that celebrates colour as the star of the show. Painting in the afternoon can be entirely abstract or with a nod to landscape if people like.
The workshop will be held in the spacious art & craft barn, where you can enjoy a relaxing day and be inspired by the space around you. There will be demonstrations and guidance throughout the day to encourage and help you make satisfying and creative work.
