Winter Wonderland
Wednesday 13 November - Tuesday 31 December 2024
Ice Bar open from Friday 15 November 2024
Old Market Square
Nottingham’s premier Christmas entertainment attraction opens at Old Market Square from Wednesday 13 November.
Bringing back the ever-popular Ice Rink and Sky Skate Ice Path, festive fun-seekers can indulge in all things Christmas until New Year’s Eve.
Grab some skates and experience Old Market Square from above. Take in the scenic city views and enjoy a heavenly hot chocolate or mulled wine at the skate-up bar. For those less keen on heights, a ground-level family ice rink is available, along with a new children’s ice rink complete with penguin skate aids, allowing even the littlest skaters to enjoy this classic winter tradition at their own pace.
With an exciting new theme, the Ice Bar will open its doors to visitors wishing to chill out in the frosty minus 10-degree temperature, whilst sipping on a tasty drink or two. Keep cosy in the gloves and coats that are provided and make sure to book early to avoid disappointment – this popular attraction always fills up fast!
The two alpine-themed bars, Sur La Piste and Altitude, will provide the perfect festive backdrop for after-work drinks, date nights, and meet-ups with friends and family. With numerous table booking and package options available, they are also ideal for your group Christmas social events. With live entertainment and DJs ready to get you in the mood for a party, various bars serving a range of delicious drinks and cocktails, and mouthwatering food from the Melt and Grill kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to get into the spirit of Christmas. Be sure to book your tables in advance to guarantee the best spot!
Offering something for everyone, the Christmas market will tempt shoppers’ taste buds with seasonal food and drinks whilst they browse unique handmade gifts, all while soaking up the holiday atmosphere.
Take a break from shopping and experience the Observation Wheel, which gives the best view of the city, including Nottingham’s fabulous Christmas tree. Book in advance to guarantee your seat on the wheel.
Family tickets, super off-peak and off-peak reduced price skating tickets are available on Mondays to Thursdays outside of the school holidays.
Nottingham City residents can also receive a 10% discount on super off-peak and off-peak ice-skating bookings.
