This Christmas, begin the festive season in style and spice up your baking skills with a special demonstration evening.
The Malt Cross is delighted to be hosting award-winning and internationally acclaimed baker and author, Emmanuel Hadjiandreou for a very special demonstration evening which will focus on one of favourite Christmas sweet treats. Learn how to create perfect stollen as Emmanuel demonstrates the process from beginning to end. This demonstration is for all skill levels – if you've never baked before or if you're set to take the bake-off tent by storm - Emmanuel will demonstrate how to create delicious stollen in your home kitchen.
There will be a Q&A session with Emmanuel following the demonstration, so be sure to come along with all your baking questions. Emmanuel will also be signing copies of his award-winning baking books which will be available to purchase on the evening. Mulled wine and refreshments will be served on arrival as well as freshly baked Christmas treats. Recipe cards will be provided too.
Emmanuel has baked around the world, having trained in South Africa and worked in Germany, before heading to England where he has headed-up some of the country's finest bakeries alongside baking for Gordon Ramsey. The breads and Emmanuel has created over his career have won multiple awards as have his baking books which have been translated into over 20 languages. Emmanuel has represented team UK at the Baking Coupe du Monde. More recently he's been sharing his extensive knowledge with future generations of budding bakers and teaches at The School of Artisan Food, Nottinghamshire.
