" all the virtuosity and panache associated with practitioners on more conventional instruments [ …] a wholly impressive evening's music from a man in complete control of his considerable resources" – Chris Parker, Vortex Jazz Bar
"Glasser's deep appreciation of South African music history made for a unique spectacle" – Percy Mabandu City Press, Cape Town Jazz Festival

South African chromatic harmonica virtuoso and pianist Adam Glasser performances include Martha Reeves, Jimmy Witherspoon, Sting, The Eurythmics, Incognito, Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Hugh Masekela and Abdullah Ibrahim as well as collaborations with many prominent UK based jazz musicians.

His band's distinctive material – as evidenced by the acclaimed albums 'Free at First' (2010 South African Musical Award Best Modern Jazz Album) and 'Mzansi' (nominated  2012 SAMA Best Jazz Album) – explore lesser known South African jazz compositions as well as the repertoire of Toots Thielemans with whom Adam shared the credits on the feature film 'Hard Rain'.
Adam's band (currently scheduled for a 14-date UK Tour Autumn 2024) consists of:

Adam Glasser – harmonica & piano
Ant Law – guitar

Andy Hamill – double bass

Corrie Dick – drums
