Team up to take down zombies, rogue drones or even each other at the world's first multiplayer, free-roam, virtual reality arcade right here in Nottingham!
Situated a Zombie's stagger from Nottingham's bus station, MeetspaceVR specialises in multiplayer, free roam (meaning no pesky wires) VR games, where up to eight players work together to explore alien worlds, investigate strange disturbances on spaceships and – yes, Walking Dead fans – battle hordes of the undead.
MeetspaceVR’s Zero Latency experience is a marvel. The entire experience takes place across a 300 sqm arena. Upon arrival, guests are kitted out with headsets, backpacks and weapons and given a strategy briefing to survive their virtual mission.
There are currently 7 different games to choose from with even more coming in 2024, during your session you can play either 2x 15min games or 1x 30min game, the choice is yours! To name a few game titles they have: Far Cry VR, set in the world of the Ubisoft console game Far Cry 3; Outbreak Origins, an epic battle against the undead while you explore an overrun city; Sol Raider, the world’s first player vs player free-roam VR game; and Singularity, a sci-fi adventure set in an abandoned space station orbiting earth.
More importantly, the games are great fun with friends, especially when accompanied by a little friendly banter: players communicate through microphones during the game in their bid to go one-up against each other on the leaderboard.
Be ready to have your minds blown by the experience. Your body is the controller and your mind believes it is all real.
MeetspaceVR has also introduced a more family-friendly experience called the Immersive Play Zone, suitable for ages 8+ their VR Quest Arena and Digital Play Wall with have your family in stitches! Visit their website to find out more about their mind-blowing, immersive experiences.
