Tucked away on St James' Street you will find the Roebuck Inn, which is opposite the former Malt Cross music hall. Built in 1877, the music hall occupied the site of the Malt Cross public house, originally the Roebuck, first recorded in 1760.

This Wetherspoon pub has an array of real ales and ciders, along with wine and spirits. The pub also offers a range of meals and snacks, with a range of offers available throughout the week. The pub is suitable for groups and bookings can be taken. FREE WiFi available.
