Spring half term is on its way, and for many parents out there that means keeping the kids entertained for a whole week! While there are lots of events happening during the school break, and tonnes of things to do in and around Nottinghamshire, it can easily become an expensive week.

We've known for some time that 200 Degrees Coffee is one of the best places in town to grab coffee, lunch or a sweet treat, but what about their breakfast offer? Visit Notts couldn't resist dropping in for a visit on a dreary Tuesday morning to try it out, and we weren't disappointed.

Nottingham's most hisotric park is an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. We paid a visit one crisp autumnal afternoon to try the Afternoon Tea in the cosy cafe housed in the Grade II listed Waverley Lodge. 

On a brisk autumnal morning, a Visit Nottinghamshire blogger headed out to a quaint north Nottinghamshire town to discover Southwell Minster, a 900-year old stone cathedral and one of the county's major heritage landmarks. 

If someone asked you, “How would you like to walk around a dark room, blindfolded with a futuristic backpack on for 15 minutes”, what would you say? No? Let me rephrase that. How would you like to explore a world where up is down and down is up, where the laws of physics are optional, where flying whales and parrot rays have replaced the birds and glowing blue orbs guide you ultimately to an ancient alien temple?

For the first time ever this giant festive tent has rolled into Nottingham’s Trinity Square, just a stone’s throw from intu Victoria Centre and Old Market Square.
