About

Peggy's Skylight, Nottingham

Dining from 12pm
Performance 1-3pm (with interval)
Tickets: £10

Adrian Cox (clarinet) and Joe Webb (piano) are two young musicians with a deep love, respect and understanding of jazz from an era when it was played, as Jelly Roll Morton insisted, "soft, sweet and plenty rhythm!"

They launched their long awaited duo album Both Sides Now in January. Recorded to tape at Durham Sounds Studio, Kentish Town, it showcases their unique, infectious and virtuosic take on material by Duke Ellington, WC Handy, Jelly Roll Morton and Joni Mitchell among others.

[Adrian Cox ]"Touches the other world that all musicians aspire to" – Cerys Matthews

"Joe Webb – exceptionally promising young pianist. His playing is rare and has an unusual sense of delicate beauty" – Huw Warren
