On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March the Tropical Butterfly House promise a weekend packed with fun, family-friendly activities to mark it's 30th birthday celebrations!
Don't miss spectacular butterfly stilt walker appearances at 11am and 2pm outside the Butterfly House and a giant bubble-blowing display at 1pm in the arena! There's also the chance to visit the new Butterfly House along with daily keeper talks and feeds, Animal Antics show, tractor-trailer rides and the chance to meet mascots Lizzie the Lemur and Mrs Meerkat as they walk around the park!
Brighten up your day with butterfly-themed crafts or children can have their face-painted as a beautiful butterfly, bug or bee!
Find a prize birthday butterfly hidden around the park, or come along in fancy dress for a chance to win a fantastic spot prize on the day!
To mark 3 decades of the park's dedication to wildlife conservation, Odin the Raven has painted a special 30th birthday masterpiece which will be auctioned over the weekend with all proceeds donated to the RSPB.
Do you have any special memories of your visits to the park? Share your stories and memorable moments about the amazing animals and team of staff with the Tropical Butterfly House on social media and tag #tropicalbutterflyhouse #mybutterflymoment. Three special memories will be selected at random to receive a family admission day ticket!
